We are seeking a results-driven EHS Manager with a proven track record in leading safety initiatives and ensuring OSHA compliance. The ideal candidate will excel in communication and relationship-building across production and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain safety and environmental programs to comply with OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Implement strategies to reduce occupational injuries and illnesses, including assessments and investigations.
  • Evaluate and improve working conditions using knowledge of industrial processes and safety standards.
  • Share and implement EHS best practices across sites.
  • Manage Environmental and Safety Management Systems in accordance with ISO 14001/ISO 18001.
  • Serve as the liaison with regulatory agencies and insurance representatives for plant compliance.
  • Oversee environmental and OSHA regulatory reporting and record-keeping.
  • Create and manage EHS budgets for various activities.
  • Lead investigations on non-compliance issues and root causes.
  • Conduct site audits to assess compliance and identify improvements.
  • Drive environmental solutions that reduce waste streams.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and lead EHS training programs.

Health and Safety Expertise:

  • Behavior-based safety (e.g., DuPont STOP)
  • Chemical hazard communication, confined space entry, electrical safety, and emergency response planning.
  • Ergonomics, fall protection, incident investigation, and job hazard analysis.

Environmental Expertise:

  • Sustainable processes, solid and hazardous waste management, and air emission controls.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, including 2+ years in a management role.
  • Proven success in implementing HSE compliance plans and knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be proactive and motivated!
