SUMMARY

The Google Cloud Architecture Analyst will deliver technical solutions for the agency by building and unit testing custom components supporting cloud architecture and applications. The successful candidate will work closely with system owners, end users, and the development team to understand the functional requirements to create effective solutions utilizing Pixel hardware with Doc AI, BigQuery, Looker, Apigee, and other tools within the Google Cloud Platform. This role is essential for leading technical efforts in data collection, structuring, visualization, and orchestration to inform strategic decision-making.

As a federal contractor, CNI is a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to pass a customer background check for access to facilities, equipment and property.

May be required to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.

May be required to obtain/retain a government background investigation commensurate with position requirements.

Certification at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) III level. These include CASP+ CE, CCNP, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

Acts as team leader on projects. Participates in development activities.

Designs, develops, implements, utilizes, and conforms to enterprise cloud architecture application solutions, strategies, processes, and standards, focusing on expertise in cloud technologies.

Collaborates with business owners, Analysts, Engineers, development teams, and infrastructure services to define, establish, and communicate application and data architecture standards, policies, and directions.

Designs high quality architectures and drives architecture activities that are aligned to organization requirements set by leadership on behalf of stakeholders and are consistent with enterprise architectural standards.

Analyzes user needs and designs software for client use. Develops code and designs software applications based on user specifications. Modifies existing software to correct errors or improve performance. Monitors and assists with software testing and validation procedures and programming.

Leads the design and implementation of advanced data collection and ingestion frameworks using

Pixel hardware with Doc AI, ensuring the capture of high-quality, actionable data.

Architects and maintains scalable, high-performance data pipelines and storage solutions with BigQuery, optimizing for efficiency and cost.

Develops sophisticated data models and algorithms to support analytics, machine learning projects, and business intelligence efforts.

Oversees the creation and maintenance of dynamic, interactive dashboards and advanced data visualizations in Looker to empower business units with real-time insights. Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines to support data structuring and ingestion into BigQuery.

Develops and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker for data visualization, providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

Continuously evaluates and adopts new technologies within the Google Cloud Platform to enhance data capabilities.

Designs and implements robust API management and data orchestration strategies using Apigee, enhancing data connectivity and integration with diverse systems, both internal and external.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Computer Programming, or related field from an accredited educational institution and a minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Preference given to DoD or Federal Government industry experience.

JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Must have experience with Google Cloud Platform and Google Could ecosystem.

Demonstrated experience working in the bulk petroleum industry. Preference given to Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) experience.

Demonstrated experience in the energy supply chain, two (2) years minimum.

Demonstrated skills and experience compiling reports, metrics data, and other administrative functions, three (3) years minimum.

Demonstrated experience in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and concluding programs and projects, three (3) years minimum.

Excellent communication (verbal, presentation, and written) and organizational skills.

Excellent skills developing approaches to meet client needs/demands while staying within project budget guidelines.

Excellent follow-up and time management skills.

Strong customer service orientation and associated skills.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows/Office.

Ability to use discretion concerning highly sensitive and confidential data and information.

Ability to work effectively individually or in a team environment.
