Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer with exceptional Technical Project Management experience to join our team. This role is essential to establish and maintain a robust IAM infrastructure for a newly independent entity over the next 12 months.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of IAM expertise and project management skills to navigate complex transitional environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IAM initiatives, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery.
- Provide technical expertise in identity and access management while coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Design and implement a new IAM infrastructure, managing resources and timelines.
- Oversee the migration of user identities and access rights to new systems with minimal disruption.
- Establish and enforce IAM policies in collaboration with legal, compliance, and security teams.
- Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, maintaining timelines and budgets.
- Manage directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP), overseeing the full project lifecycle.
- Develop and execute identity governance strategies, aligning with project goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA), managing risk and reporting progress.
- Collaborate with current IAM engineers, demonstrating leadership in task delegation and team management.
- Utilize project management methodologies to optimize team performance and meet critical milestones.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Expertise in IAM tools (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, ForgeRock) and cloud-based IAM solutions.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) and cloud migration planning.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing virtual teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (highly desirable).
- Cyber Ark and Saviynt background (may be ideal).
