We are working with a market leading M&A insurance Insurer seeking an M&A insurance analyst in New York. It is entering an exciting period of exponential growth. This position is a great opportunity to join a growing company and gain exposure to all facets of the M&A insurance industry.
About the role:
As an analyst in the broking team on transactional insurance deals, the M&A Analyst will handle a variety of workstreams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The role will be very hands-on and provide in-depth exposure to M&A and corporate transactions.
This role is based in New York with remote-working flexibility. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
Responsibilities include:
- Analysing M&A documents, including financial statements and purchase agreements
- Assisting with drafting insurance quotes, binders, and policies
- Directly supporting senior underwriters on live M&A deals
- Managing a consistent pipeline of M&A deal flow by updating the team with M&A deal statistics, reviewing/executing NDAs, and utilizing the team’s IT/operating systems to ensure smooth administration of M&A deals
- Engaging and communicating with insurance brokers, lawyers, and investment managers.
- Attending industry events, networking opportunities and team outings
About you:
Industry experience is welcome, but not necessary. A background or education in Law is required.
