Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy:

  • Oversee the logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods.

  • Review availability of raw materials and components to meet production schedules.

Cost Management and Efficiency Improvement:

  • Continuously identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the supply chain.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve performance and streamline processes.
  • Implement technologies and systems (e.g., ERP) to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, marketing, finance) to align supply chain with business needs.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, logistics providers, and customers.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place to manage supply disruptions.

Compliance and Sustainability:

  • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with local, national, and international laws and regulations.
  • Promote sustainable practices within the supply chain to minimize environmental impact.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or similar roles (typically 5-7 years).
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems, preference StockIQ).
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
