Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead a combined onsite and offshore QA team developing and maintaining a mobile application. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in software testing, strong leadership skills, a passion for improving processes and some knowledge of medical devices and their associated processes is desirable. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, managing testing activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts and testers. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and automation.
  • Quality Strategy Development: Define and implement QA processes, methodologies, and best practices. Develop quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance.
  • Testing Oversight: Plan, execute, and oversee all testing phases, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure thorough documentation of test cases, results, and defect tracking.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product management, development, and operations teams to align on project goals and timelines. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure clarity on quality standards and requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance product quality. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation in QA practices.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in QA. Assess risks related to product quality and work with teams to mitigate them.

Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Proficient in test automation tools and frameworks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and QA software.
