TITLE: COMPENSATION ANALYST
LOCATION: 405 Lexington Avenue, New York, New York
Description :
The Compensation Analyst is part of the core human resources team at CLIENT X and supports the organization-wide HR function. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the development, analysis, and preparation of data in support of the ongoing maintenance and implementation of compensation programs, as well as providing research and analytical support on special projects as needed.
Candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. Creativity, organization, self-motivation and team collaboration is critical to this role.
This role requires a self-starter who has the ability to work cross-functionally. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Compensation and will work closely with other HR functions and client groups, including: HR business partners, HR analytics, finance, sales, payroll and legal.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate new and evolving positions through internal and external benchmarking; review roles with HR business partners and hiring managers to obtain additional information and insight.
  • Prepare and evaluate compensation recommendations.
  • Support monthly and quarterly sales compensation review processes by preparing analyses, communicating results to managers and participants.
  • Assist with equity incentive program administration and service provider relationships
  • Complete annual compensation surveys to obtain external market data and coordinate with survey firms in response to follow-up inquiries.
  • Support annual compensation review processes administered via Workday human capital management by auditing data, testing functionality, researching and answering questions from internal clients.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from HR business partners and managers on compensation data and practices.
  • Collaborate with client teams on special projects as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree, preferably in a business-related field
  • 2-5 years professional experience in human resources, finance, statistical analysis or related field preferred
  • Strong to expert-level Excel skills desired
  • Experience utilizing Workday or similar HRIS systems is a plus
