Job Description
The Director of Information Technology will be responsible for overseeing the Help Desk, Networking, Hardware, Maintenance, Software, and Vulnerability Management. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all technology-related processes are in line with the overall business goals and objectives. The Director of Information Technology will work closely with the President and other members of the senior management team to identify and implement strategic technology initiatives that support the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Help Desk team to ensure that all user requests and issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement networking strategies to ensure that the company's network infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable.
  • Ensure that all hardware and software systems are properly maintained and updated to minimize downtime and improve overall system performance.
  • Manage software licensing and ensure compliance with software vendor agreements.
  • Develop and implement software deployment and patch management strategies.
  • Manage vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Manage the IT budget and ensure that all technology-related expenditures are within the approved budget.
  • Identify and implement new technologies that can improve business operations, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that the company's data and systems are secure and protected from cyber threats.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure that all IT policies and procedures are documented, communicated, and followed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on help desk, networking, hardware, software, and vulnerability management.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing technology strategies that support business goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Experience in managing an IT budget.

COO/CISO

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in an office environment with standard office equipment. Some travel may be required. Work hours may vary depending on business needs.
