We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Director of Business Intelligence (BI) to join our dynamic team in the technology industry. The successful candidate will be a data-driven individual with a proven track record of leading a data transformation journey and leveraging data for strategic decision-making. They will have the ability to analyze our current data portfolio, including POS data, and use this information to drive business reporting and data analysis. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and driving our business intelligence strategy, providing key insights that will influence the direction of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the company's data transformation journey, ensuring that data is at the heart of strategic decision-making.
• Leverage data for strategic decision-making, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Oversee business reporting, ensuring that data is accurate, timely, and relevant.
• Analyze the current data portfolio, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance data quality and usability.
• Manage POS data, ensuring it is effectively utilized to drive business insights and strategy.
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization, promoting a data-driven culture and ensuring that data insights are incorporated into all aspects of the business.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in business intelligence, ensuring that our company remains at the forefront of the technology industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on business intelligence and data analysis.
• Proven experience leading a data transformation journey and leveraging data for strategic decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of POS data and its applications in business intelligence.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive a data-driven culture and influence at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in the use of BI tools and software, with a strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments in business intelligence and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
