Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst/Planner I (Transports/Logistics/Carriers)
Pay Rate: $30 to $35/Hr
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid - 2-3 Days Onsite in a Week)
Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific time (Monday to Friday)
Our client is a global industrial and consumer products manufacturer.
We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst/Planner I (Transports/Logistics/Carriers)
Responsibilities:
- The Supply Chain Analyst/Planner I (Transports/Logistics/Carriers) has a pivotal role in the Supply chain.
- Planners will be responsible for running their own business with a specified carrier portfolio, managing day-to-day operations, and driving continuous improvement activities.
- This includes all service-related metrics and financial-related activities.
- Manage Transportation Management System (TMS) and resolve technical issues with internal and external parties
- Ensure that carriers are adhering to contractual commitments
- Lead resolution on operational/tactical scheduling, pick-up, and delivery issues
- Serve as the cross-functional leader for carrier and Client shipping point engagement
Supplier Relationship Management & Continuous Improvement
- Manage scorecard meetings with carriers and communicate performance
- Hold carriers accountable through an action planning process to ensure that pick-up and delivery metrics are meeting standards
- Enhance Tools and reporting
- Create new standard operating procedures where appropriate
- Collaborate with Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure the right carrier mix to maximize service
Education & Experience
- A Supply Chain Degree is strongly preferred
- 1-3 years relevant work experience.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA strongly preferred
- Campus/Organization leadership experience desired
- Experience with the following tools (Excel, Power BI, OTM, SAP, Powerpoint, Word)
- Strong communication skills
