System Engineer

We are currently seeking for a Systems Engineer for a Full-time position with our Direct Client at Newton, KS (Onsite with Initial Remote) location.

Job Description:

Knowledge and Skills:

• Advanced project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Effective time management and initiative.
• Competent in system analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience in creating technical documentation and training.

Desired Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of PCs, Windows OS, VDI (preferably VMware), and server virtualization.
• Familiarity with AV/malware systems, networking concepts, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

Skills Needed:

The resume should be more focused on System Engineering . Skills that are needed to be in the resume are.,

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in network/system management.
• Advanced troubleshooting and administration knowledge of PCs/Laptops/Thin Clients.
• Advanced troubleshooting and administration knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, preferably Windows 11 and newer MS Server Editions.
• Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, preferably VMware Horizon View.
• Knowledge of Server virtualization technology, preferably VMware.
• Knowledge of Advanced AV/Malware Systems, preferably Cisco AMP/Umbrella.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols and security principals. Meraki and/or Cisco Firepower is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (i.e., PowerShell, Python) desired.
