We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Web Developer to lead and contribute to the development of our SaaS-based services and system integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full stack development, with expertise in .NET, VB, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, MS SQL, MySQL, and AWS. Experience with Salesforce, learning management systems (LMS), and custom code is a plus.

**This position is remote based in the US. Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorships will not be supported**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS-based applications and services.
  • Lead end-to-end development processes, including architecture, design, implementation, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop scopes of work and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components using .NET, VB, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Implement and manage database solutions with MS SQL and MySQL, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Utilize AWS and DNS for cloud-based services, ensuring reliable and scalable deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers and/or contractors, providing technical leadership and best practices.
  • Efficiently manage existing, new, or unplanned projects or programs with agility, flexibility, standardization, and monitoring.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.
  • Work to continuously and strategically improve programs through a review of systems, product functionality, program enhancements, and process flows.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university, with minimum of 5 years of senior-level, professional experience in full stack web development; or
  • Associate s degree in computer science, engineering or related field from an accredited college or university, with a minimum of 8 years of senior-level, professional experience in full stack web development.
  • Demonstrated project and/or program management, creative problem-solving skills, and a history of achieving outcomes.

REQUIRED SKILLS & CRITICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Proven experience in developing and deploying SAAS-based applications.
  • Strong proficiency in full stack development with expertise in:
    • .NET (C#, VB)
    • HTML/CSS
    • JavaScript/jQuery
    • MS SQL / MySQL
    • AWS and DNS
    • Database architecture and design
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Superior attention to detail, organization, and follow through, including system documentation.
  • Relentless focus on clients needs and consistent raising of the bar on service excellence.
  • Demonstration of a high level of integrity and ethics with superb judgment and maturity to manage sensitive information with care and confidentiality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high comfort level in being accountable for decision making.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience with Salesforce development and integration.
  • Familiarity with eLearning standards and learning management system (LMS) development.
  • Experience with tenet deployment/management.
  • Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom coding on the WordPress platform.
  • Experience and proficiency with project management applications and practices.
  • High comfort level with adoption of new technology, software, or applications.

EXPECTED TRAVEL

Availability for 5% travel per year, including some weekends
