Position Title: Change Management Analyst/Readiness Liaison
Project Duration: 18-24 Months
Engagement Length: 1 year (with possible renewal)
Hours Per Week: 37.5

Location: One Ashburton Place, Boston, MA 02108 (Hybrid)
This is a hybrid role that allows for remote work, but candidates must be able to report to the Boston office as required by management.

Overview:

We are seeking for experienced Change Management Analysts/Readiness Liaisons to support the rollout of a new financial solution for over 150 agencies. This role will involve working closely with multiple agencies to assess their readiness and ensure a smooth transition to the new system. Candidates must have expertise in change management principles and a proven ability to guide organizations through significant IT and business process changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Change Management & Transition Support: Lead change management efforts by preparing agencies for the adoption of new business practices and procedures as part of the financial solution rollout.
  • Assess Readiness: Work with assigned agencies to assess their readiness for go-live, including ensuring proper user training, system access, and technical setup.
  • Communication & Engagement: Act as a liaison between agency managers and end users, articulating the vision of the program and facilitating clear communication.
  • Create & Implement Readiness Plans: Develop readiness plans for agencies, which include communication strategies, operational readiness, technical readiness, and training.
  • Agency Collaboration: Collaborate with agency champions to ensure security provisioning, resolve issues, and provide post-implementation support.
  • Impact Evaluation: Evaluate the impact of the new business processes and IT systems on agency operations, identifying necessary changes and helping agencies implement these changes.
  • Facilitate Change Meetings: Conduct educational sessions and readiness meetings to prepare agency stakeholders and end users.
  • Technical & Operational Task Management: Work closely with the BEST technical team to track and manage agency tasks related to system interfaces, reports, and data management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Organizational Change Management Experience: 3-5 years of experience in organizational change management within a large organization, including working with clients on IT and business process transitions.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience using tools like Visio, MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to create process maps using Visio.
  • Business Process Understanding: Basic knowledge of financial business processes (Chart of Accounts, GAAP reporting, Federal Grants Management, etc.) is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to engage diverse audiences. Must be able to motivate and influence others.
  • Project & Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and provide proactive solutions to challenges.

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial Process Knowledge: Experience with public sector financial business processes, including asset management, procurement, project management, and federal grants management.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, building trusted relationships, and influencing stakeholders across different levels of an organization.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
