Remote Analyst - Business Systems - WFH

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business System Analyst to join our remote team for a minimum commitment of 12 months. This role is critical as you will work in close collaboration with Product Owners to grasp the product vision, requirements, and the prioritization of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners to comprehend the Product Vision, requirements, and initiative priorities.
• Analyze and review features to establish clear requirements.
• Draft high-level user stories in conjunction with the ES Architect and ES Product Owner.
• Organize and facilitate stakeholder sessions to ensure user stories are thorough and precise.
• Document additional stories as required to fulfill project objectives.
• Effectively communicate with downstream teams regarding impacts and regression testing related to service modifications.
• Organize and maintain the product backlog on the team’s Story Card board, utilizing appropriate templates and categories.
• Improve the Product Backlog in partnership with the ES Architect and ES Scrum Team.
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure the completeness and accuracy of user stories.
• Estimate effort for tasks using Point Card sizing.
• Provide regular updates on project status to Product Owners and Internal SOA Team Members.
• Respond promptly to communications and escalate issues as necessary.
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and the Line of Business (LOB).
• Engage actively in BSA team meetings, sharing insights on processes and providing mentorship to team members as needed.
• Collaborate with ES architects to gain insights into application processes, dependencies, and impacts.
• Exhibit strong analytical skills to tackle various aspects of product development.
• Understand data and queries to meet technical requirements.
• Utilize technical knowledge to translate requirements into comprehensive user stories that offer technical framework solutions.
• Recognize banking financial transactions, including vendor payment interfaces and debit/credit posting procedures.

Qualifications
