What you will be responsible for: The Logistics Manager will oversee all shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes. Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Several teammates including the Receiving Tech, Inventory Control Specialist, and Material Handler


What You’ll Do:

  • Reviews logistics processes and procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs.
  • Maintains database(s) of logistics information.
  • Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes.
  • Monitors warehouse facilities to evaluate inventory transactions such as receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory integrity.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures related to material movement and inventory control with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.
  • Serves on the NetSuite Implementation Team as needed
  • Mentors' teammates and is a “culture add”
  • Key leader in the plant and member of the Plant Leadership Team
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively train others.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, as well as inventory software.


Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in logistics field required.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
