Join our growing sales team as an Associate Sales District Manager. This entry level position will work with the team from business development, marketing, sales, to customer support. You will develop new and existing customer relationships in your designated district to achieve assigned sales goals by product area (intrusion and access control). We also promote cross selling activities across the Building Technologies portfolio. You will do so via the following activities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues from Training, Inside Sales and Presales to provide sales support for customers in the form of product training, special quotations, project product recommendations and other customer requirements to achieve sales goals.
  • Strengthen and enhance specified National and Regional Distributor relationships at district level. Explicitly charged with growing sales in intrusion sensor portfolio.
  • Grow purchase volumes with existing assigned dealers in the district as well as identify partners to fill vertical market or geographic coverage.
  • Collaborate with the Sales District Manager and Regional Sales Director on district strategy and development opportunities.
  • Leverage the Business Development, Product Support and Marketing teams to identify and develop new sales channels for assigned Bosch products.
  • Support business development efforts at A&E, end-user, distributor, and dealer levels.
  • Provide same or next day response for customer issues.
  • Promote Bosch products; train on the benefits of such solutions through events: road shows, trade shows, customer directed training and other programs.
  • Provide sales opportunity, pipeline and customer information through effective utilization of CRM tool.


Your profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
  • Demonstrated background of successful sales of micro-electronic products, computer technology, related industry.
  • Must be technically savvy and demonstrate the ability to learn complex products and systems quickly.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills (verbal, listening, presenting and written).
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationship with customers, management, and colleagues.
  • Ability to support and solve customer problems with a dynamic, positive approach and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry affiliations and/or certifications a plus.
  • Must be able to travel at least 50-70%.
  • Must reside within the area they will represent; Central US (TN, AL, MS, LA, MO, KS, NE, OH, AR, IL, IN, KY, WV, MN, ND, SD, WI).
