  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are currently seeking a Cloud Data Engineer with a strong foundation in Python, API integrations, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), and SQL. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud-based data solutions to improve data accessibility and drive insights that support strategic decisions.

This is a contract role that offers a hybrid work schedule!

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines and architectures in cloud environments using Python.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for data integration and consumption across various cloud services.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of pipelines and databases.
  • Utilize Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for data integration, transformation, and management to ensure data quality and accessibility.
  • Perform complex data queries and manipulations using SQL to support analytics and business intelligence efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable and secure data solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data storage and retrieval performance in the cloud.
  • Adhere to data governance and security policies.
  • Provide expertise on cloud data technologies and best practices to team members and stakeholders.
  • Document all processes, models, and activity flows thoroughly for clear communication and future maintenance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in cloud data services and technologies to incorporate into potential solutions.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a cloud engineering role, with a strong focus on data-centric projects.
  • Proven expertise in Python programming for data manipulation and automation.
  • Solid experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and other cloud-based ETL tools.
  • Proficient in designing and developing APIs for robust data integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and non-relational database systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large, complex data sets.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to solving technical challenges.
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
