Blu Omega is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and lead the migration of our existing codebase from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing secure DevOps practices, including establishing secure code repositories, developing deployment pipelines, and integrating static code analysis tools. In this role, you will also be responsible for training software development teams on GitHub workflows and ensuring adherence to security best practices.

- Migrate codebase from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise.
- Set up GitHub repositories and enforce security rules for projects.
- Create and manage GitHub runners for deployment to both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Integrate security tools such as Fortify Static Code Analyzer and SonarCloud into development pipelines for continuous code scanning and vulnerability detection.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to support automated code reviews, security scans, and deployment.
- Deploy applications to both on-premises Windows servers and Azure App Service.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure security best practices are followed in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Train software teams on the GitHub developer workflow, including branching strategies, pull requests, and security rule enforcement.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance, ensuring seamless integration of code analysis tools, GitHub runners, and deployment processes.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering roles.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in configuring and using Fortify Static Code Analyzer and SonarCloud for secure code scanning.
- Experience creating and managing GitHub runners for CI/CD deployments.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline development and deployment practices.
- Experience deploying applications to Windows servers and Azure App Service.
- Familiarity with code security and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and mentor development teams.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with on-premises and cloud infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Batch.
- Familiarity with provisioning, managing, and deploying to Azure PaaS environments
- Knowledge of containerization and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Docker, Terraform).
