Are you an experienced leader in radiology system consolidations and ready to take on a transformative challenge? Our client, a prominent player in healthcare, is seeking a Project Leader Consultant (Remote, Contract) to spearhead the consolidation of multiple RIS and PACS systems across numerous clinics. This initiative aims to merge various platforms into one cohesive, cutting-edge radiology system. Your leadership will be critical in shaping the future of their radiology technology landscape.

In this role, you will assess the current state of their systems, define technical requirements, and create workflows that align with the project s objectives. You will lead the testing of the new platform, ensure seamless data migration, and perform piloting at selected clinics. Your added expertise in system interfacing and document archiving will ensure a smooth transition from disparate systems to a unified platform.

Position Duties:

  • Collaborate with team members and department leaders to gather and document both technical and operational requirements for the new consolidated radiology platform. Ensure these requirements align with clinical, administrative, and IT needs.
  • Conduct a thorough evaluation of the existing various RIS and PACS systems and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design a detailed project workflow that outlines the step-by-step process for consolidating the disparate systems.
  • Lead the testing and validation process of the newly developed radiology platform to ensure it meets all performance, functionality, and integration standards. Including troubleshooting issues and refining the system for optimal performance.
  • Analyze and plan the interfacing needs between the new consolidated platform and other clinical or administrative systems. Ensure seamless communication and data exchange.
  • Oversee the migration of existing data from the multiple RIS/PACS systems to the new platform. Ensure the proper archiving of historical documents and data for compliance and future reference.
  • Coordinate and manage pilot implementations of the new platform with various clinic sites. Gather feedback, assess the system s performance in a live environment, and make necessary adjustments before full-scale rollout.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership of large-scale radiology system rollouts
  • Experience with the consolidation of RIS/PACS disparate systems
  • Strong knowledge of various Radiology Platforms
  • Radiology Platform Build leadership experience
