Basic Function

Assists with the management of executive leadership enrollment and program functions within the Office of Executive Education. Provides professional support to the Online Executive MBA program and Executive Leadership Certificate and Training programs with program management, partner coordination services, participant support. Ensures that executive education program goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations, and to satisfaction of corporate partners or clients. This position reports to the Executive Director of Executive Education.

Supervisory Accountability

Has the responsibility or authority which is limited to the operational leadership over select program tasks with office assistant, program vendors, graduate student assistant, and student or temporary event workers.

Nature And Scope

Internal contacts include university administrators, faculty and staff. External contacts include corporate partners, graduate students, executive program participants, vendors, and the general public.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Advises learners on EMBA program and executive leadership certification and training program registration processes, campus service navigation, and troubleshoots any related student registration challenges.
  • The ability to develop and recommend new or revised program goals, objectives and tasks.
  • Develops and leads administrative tasks in the coordination of executive program event production, logistics, venue coordination, set up of program online platforms, support set up of event audio and visual services.
  • Represents office and programs in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Presents professional level training modules, introduces speakers and stakeholder guest in programs.
  • Assist with administrative coordination and support of program instructors, faculty.
  • Assist with development of instructional materials, program calendars, website content, program evaluations, and generates program registration and summary reports.
  • Provides accurate, clear and timely support to colleagues, students, faculty and partners as needed. Exercises sound professional judgement and insight in interpreting and advising program participants, stakeholders on important policy, goals and standards.
  • Ability to support flexible program schedules, including early morning and evening events and activities as needed. Occasional program travel as required.
  • Understand fundamentals of instructional design to support Executive Director, faculty, and instructional teams in providing professional support of executive program sessions.
  • Represents program as needed in open house, marketing and public relations events.
  • Campus position, with limited teleworking opportunities as approved.

Core Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills, including professional level writing skills, strong presentation skills, and professional presence in representing the School of Business with corporate partners, experienced professionals, and graduate level learners.
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating professional development programs and services.

Minimum Requirements

Master’s Degree recommended, but not required with 3-5 years of experience coordinating, and presenting higher education and related professional development services.

Expected Salary Range: $72,727 - $80,000
