Position Overview:

As the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of Euna Solutions. As a leader on the FP&A team, you will provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to support our rapid growth and operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, combined with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with senior management and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the development and execution of the company s annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies providing financial guidance and insights to support the strategic decision-making process.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide high-level financial analysis and insights identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement across key business drivers to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports. Communicate financial results including monitoring of key performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Modeling & Forecasting: Create and maintain comprehensive financial models to support scenario analysis to align with strategic objectives and monitor performance against financial targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments and product line leaders across the organization providing analysis and ad hoc reporting to support business decision making.
  • Process Improvement: Drive the continued development and enhancement of FP&A processes leveraging tools such as Vena to increase automation and build on reporting and analysis.
  • M&A Support: Manage FP&A efforts through M&A activities, ensuring the successful integration of financial planning tools, processes, and personnel to drive seamless transitions and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a managerial or director-level role, preferably within a SaaS private equity-backed environment.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics, including MRR, ARR, churn, and LTV.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Must be able to address multiple issues in a high paced and rapidly changing environment. Time management skills are critical.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software, ERP systems).Experience with Vena a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Location

This position will be hybrid with 2 days/week in our Oakville, ON office.
