We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Remote IT Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users remotely, ensuring their IT systems are functioning efficiently.
As a Remote IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues. You will be expected to have strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a deep understanding of various IT systems and software. Your main goal will be to ensure our end-users have smooth and seamless technology experiences.
Responsibilities
  • Provide remote technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems remotely.
  • Install and configure computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of support processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years working as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
