Salesforce Project Manager

Location; Irvine, CA (Hybrid)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Implementation Project Manager to lead end-to-end Salesforce deployments. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless execution, from initial planning through to go-live and post-implementation support. This role demands strong project management skills, extensive Salesforce expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and client relationships effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management Experience: 5+ years of experience in managing complex projects, with at least 2+ years focused on Salesforce implementation projects.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Deep understanding of Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and experience integrating Salesforce with other third-party systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Salesforce development languages (Apex, Visualforce), Salesforce Lightning, and integration tools like MuleSoft or custom API integrations.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive project teams toward successful outcomes.
  • Client Management: Experience engaging with clients or stakeholders, gathering requirements, managing expectations, and providing ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and experience solving complex technical and process challenges during implementation.
  • Change Management: Experience in managing change during project execution, including end-user training, system adoption strategies, and transition to post-implementation support.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proficient in project management software (Jira, Asana, MS Project, or equivalent) and Salesforce development/configuration tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill complex technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred:
    • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Consultant, or Salesforce Project Manager certifications preferred.
    • Project Management Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
