KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of designers, engineers, and architects to achieve project goals.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all designs meet project specifications and uphold our commitment to quality and clarity.
  • Project Management: Oversee timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
  • Client Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations throughout the design process.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the design process for compliance and future reference.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about building codes and regulations, ensuring all designs are compliant.
  • Design Review: Conduct thorough reviews with a focus on health and safety standards.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively address design-related challenges and implement effective solutions.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Construction Design Industry Experience: Proven experience in Modular Housing and Manufacturing, with a background as a Design Manager, Architect, or Structural Engineer.
  • Production Prints: Proficiency in handling production prints, including editing, auditing, and preparing documentation.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work effectively with Sales, Engineering, and Production teams.
  • Team Leadership: Experience leading a team of designers, fostering collaboration and creativity.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with InDesign, UI Design, AutoCAD, CAD, HTML, CSS, and Agile Methodologies is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong collaborative and negotiation skills, with a focus on leading project design initiatives.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and prioritization abilities, driving organizational transformation.
  • PAY RANGE: $100K TO $150K / YEARLY

    The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
