Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of NBI/Conflicts experience in the legal industry, with a preference for those with prior new business intake/conflicts experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and computerized Conflicts/Workflow software.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities, with good judgment in identifying and communicating conflict issues, and collaborating with attorneys and legal assistants.

Duties:

  • Manage daily workflow, run conflict checks, assign client matter numbers, and make necessary client matter adjustments while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle all client matter modifications, assign affiliations, and process reports such as Dunn and Bradstreet (DNBi)/Hoover to maintain system integrity and database cleanliness.
  • Notify attorneys of issues during the matter opening process, manage client matter re-openings, and complete exiting attorney reports and file closures.
  • Safeguard client and employee confidences by maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all firm policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor new NBI hires, staff, and attorneys on NBI policies and procedures, ensuring efficiency and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
