Duties:

• Work as a member of the systems integration team, supporting testing across various teams and subsystems.
• Design, perform and analyze SPR assays to verify product performance meets requirements and specifications.
• Work with team members to develop and execute test plans and reports. Document and report defects across various subsystems, including fluidics, software and hardware.
• Analyze and interpret data to generate recommendations for further improvement of tests and features.
• Prepare and conduct presentations to the organizational stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate Is:

• Able to work fully in-person at Nicoya s headquarters in Kitchener, ON (position cannot be remote or hybrid)
• B.Sc or B.A.Sc degree in Biochemistry, Nanotechnology Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or other related engineering/scientific discipline.
• Proficient in Excel and Python for data analysis.
• Experienced working in a wet-lab environment and with common lab equipment (e.g. pipettes, scales, pH-meter, etc...).
• Familiar with Jira and Confluence.
• A fast learner with a high level of critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience working with spectrometry.
• Experience in software testing.
• Experience working with nanoparticles, surface science and/or microfluidic devices.
• Experience with Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) and/or similar analytical techniques.
