Quality and Reporting Specialist Overview: The Quality and Reporting Specialist is responsible for tracking and auditing of the various functions within the Recovery Department.

Quality and Reporting Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for tracking and auditing of the various functions within the Recovery Department.
  • Identify and audit all up and coming year end groups.
  • Consult stop loss policies and other resource materials to review for proper application of policy provisions.
  • Manage and maintain documents on SharePoint directly related to Recovery.
  • Maintain and efficiently track status of all renewing and termed groups.
  • Oversee, report and track open issues, such as JIRA tickets, etc.
  • Review and audit Group Claim History Analysis (GCHA) reports and other reinsurance reports as needed, identifying discrepancies, trends, etc.
  • Develop and streamline processes related to Recovery functions.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments such as Accounting, Billing and Eligibility, I.T., Claims and Customer
  • Service for various reinsurance recovery needs.
  • Demonstrate and develop complete understanding of all recovery functions.
  • Continually look for efficiencies and improvements to current processes.
  • Escalate issues to Vice President as deemed necessary.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction.
  • Strong math and computer skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • People and team oriented.
  • Proven abilities in written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Supervisory experience a plus.
