Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Equity Research Analyst to join our team focusing on the Building & Construction Materials sector. As an Equity Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of companies within the sector, gathering and interpreting data, and providing actionable insights to support investment decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fundamental analysis of companies within the Building & Construction Materials sector, including financial statement analysis, competitive positioning, and industry trends.
  • Perform quantitative analysis, including financial modeling and valuation techniques, to assess the investment potential of companies.
  • Monitor and track relevant macroeconomic factors, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting the sector.
  • Prepare comprehensive research reports and investment recommendations for use by portfolio managers and institutional clients.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively through written reports, presentations, and discussions with internal teams and clients.
  • Stay abreast of market developments and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape within the sector.
  • Collaborate with other research analysts and portfolio managers to identify investment opportunities and develop investment strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to perform financial modeling and valuation analysis.
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and investment analysis techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior internship or work experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related field is preferred but not required.
