SSAI Is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal and Compliance Specialist to join our team. The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring the organization complies with all relevant legal regulations and internal policies. The Legal and Compliance Specialist will also provide expert legal advice, manage risk, and implement compliance frameworks across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company complies with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal policies.
  • Review and draft legal documents, agreements, contracts, and policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environments.
  • Investigate compliance issues, including violations of laws, regulations, or internal policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide advice and training on legal and compliance matters.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel as necessary.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal processes (e.g., [industry-specific compliance standards]).
  • Experience with legal document review, drafting, and negotiation.
  • Familiarity with risk management and internal control processes.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including data protection, financial, and environmental regulations.
