About the Role:

As a Production Planner I, you will assist in planning and scheduling production to ensure customer requirements are met. You ll work closely with cross-functional teams, using ERP systems and analytical skills to optimize production schedules and ensure smooth communication across the supply chain. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.

About You:

You are detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in fast-paced environments. You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and have a knack for problem-solving. Your comfort with ERP systems and strong Excel skills make you a valuable asset in managing production schedules and ensuring smooth supply chain operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to align supply plans with customer demand.
  • Attend cross-functional meetings to ensure up-to-date capacity, raw material, and component data are available.
  • Monitor and adjust supply plans throughout the month, updating systems and communicating changes to Sales and Customer Service.
  • Work collaboratively to address supply challenges and ensure clear communication across the supply chain.
  • Plan and release optimized weekly production schedules to meet customer requirements while maximizing efficiency.
  • Partner with Procurement and Quality teams to ensure visibility of material requirements and resolve supply issues.
  • Monitor excess and obsolete inventory, providing regular updates to Sales and Customer Service.
  • Review and update planning parameters in ERP systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain planning or a related field.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, nutritional, or food manufacturing is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • APICS certification (CPIM) is a strong plus.
