Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Junior Investment Banking Analyst to join our Banks & Depositories team. As part of our investment banking division, you will support senior analysts and managers in executing financial transactions, conducting industry research, and analyzing market trends within the banking and depositories sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment banking while working with a dynamic team on high-profile transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior analysts in executing financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and advisory services within the banks and depositories sector.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including financial modeling and valuation, to support transaction execution and client presentations.
  • Perform comprehensive industry research and analyze market trends affecting banks and depositories, presenting findings to senior team members.
  • Prepare detailed company profiles and investment memoranda outlining strategic opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, and marketing to ensure smooth transaction processes and client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes and industry developments affecting the banking sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.).
  • Prior internship or work experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields is preferred but not required.
