Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior analysts in executing financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and advisory services within the banks and depositories sector.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including financial modeling and valuation, to support transaction execution and client presentations.
- Perform comprehensive industry research and analyze market trends affecting banks and depositories, presenting findings to senior team members.
- Prepare detailed company profiles and investment memoranda outlining strategic opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, and marketing to ensure smooth transaction processes and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and industry developments affecting the banking sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.).
- Prior internship or work experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields is preferred but not required.
