  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Technical Lead

Duties: Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting new and existing embedded software systems for vehicle and other applications. Lead medium to more complex technical projects independently. Architect scalable and robust solutions, considering factors like performance, security, and maintainability. Provide strategic input on technology selection, adoption, and system architecture. Contribute to the development and maintenance of applications with best practices. Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to the team Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and constraints. Mentoring junior and mid-level developers, fostering their growth and development. Resolving technical challenges and providing guidance during critical incidents or outages. Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Driving process improvements and advocating best practices within the team and customers. Developing Proof of Concepts to address customer needs. Researching and providing information on new technology and technical trends.

Location: Various, unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; Telecommuting permitted.

Direct Reports: Manage one (1) Software Systems Engineer.

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or closely related field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree.

Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Software Engineer, or in a related automotive embedded software engineering role.

Experience must include:

1) Embedded software systems development for automotive products and applications.

2) Software design and development.

3) Vehicle system testing and diagnostics.
