Salary: Annual On Target Earnings: $300,000 - $340,000 USD

About the Role:

Axonius Federal Systems (wholly-owned subsidiary of Axonius, Inc.) is seeking a Director of Federal Sales, Intelligence who will be responsible for building a business pipeline and selling the Axonius Security Asset Management platform software to U.S. Intelligence agencies.

The Director of Federal Sales, Intelligence will:

  • Identify and drive targeted prospecting activities for accounts in key government agencies
  • Manage pipeline activities including driving deals through presentations, demos and POCs; exhibit consistent deal progression to closure
  • Identify deal stakeholders, understand budgets, procurement timeline and requirements
  • Develop and manage quotes and proposals, contracts and price negotiations
  • Provide regular sales updates, including metrics for meetings, opportunities, POCs and deal closure to executive management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • U.S. Personnel Security Clearance eligibility
    • 10+ years of experience in relevant Intelligence and Defense software sales with a history of achieving and exceeding goals
    • Strong existing relationships in the U.S. Intelligence and Defense communities
    • True blend of relationship building with Channel VARs and hunter mentality for direct sales
    • Ability to effectively communicate both business and technical level concepts to various core audiences
      • Aptitude to take the vision of the company and establish a sales strategy, objectives and action plan for the local market
      • Ability to adapt sales methods and tactics to various on the ground customer and market conditions
      • Aptness to resourcefully and effectively execute and deliver on goals and action plans
      • Sense of urgency to address issues right away, deal with problems, finish initiatives
      • Talent to build relationships, collaborate and partner with clients to obtain confidence and trust
      • Willingness to build a successful territory from the ground up leveraging existing success across Intel/DoD space
      • Ability to work creatively and independently, with minimal supervision
      • Organized and creative with a focus on the growth of this venture
      • Positive, Can-do attitude

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience selling cybersecurity software solutions to Intelligence clients
      • Strong understanding of technical security solutions and models
      • Conceptual understanding of IT network environments
      • Strong understanding of the pursuit and acquisition of cybersecurity business
