Position Overview:
We are seeking a KSU Application Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications. This role involves managing applications from initial project definition through implementation and evaluation, ensuring successful delivery and ongoing support. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal and external team members to meet project deliverables and maintain high standards of application performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Management: Oversee daily operations and lifecycle of enterprise applications such as EAB, Cayuse, EMS, and 25Live.
  • Project Management: Manage applications through all stages of the project lifecycle, including project definition, approval, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaboration: Develop strong partnerships with internal and external teams to achieve project goals within specified timeframes.
  • Operational Support: Handle operations and maintenance tasks related to assigned tools and applications.
  • Documentation: Track, document, and develop changes, procedures, and processes for applications.
  • Customer Communication: Work effectively with a team and maintain clear communication with customers.
  • Task Management: Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in supporting the full lifecycle of complex, cloud-based, and on-premises applications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with relational databases and basic SQL understanding; familiarity with TCP/IP, firewalls, and OSI layer 6 and 7 protocols (e.g., HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, DNS, SMTP).
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with MSSQL/IIS is preferred.
