Cobalt AI is growing and seeking our Founding Senior Sales Development Representative Lead (SDR) to spearhead outbound lead generation. This key role reports to the Director of Marketing and will focus on generating qualied leads and expanding our sales pipeline for our enterprise SaaS oerings.

We're looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience in building and scaling SDR programs specically for enterprise SaaS accounts

Responsibilities:

  • Build and Scale SDR Program:
    • Lead the development and implementation of the SDR program from inception, leveraging industry best practices and innovative strategies.
    • Scale the SDR team signicantly, expanding responsibilities and diversifying roles to meet evolving business needs.
  • Process and Technology Optimization:
    • Implement and optimize sales processes, CRM systems, and sales engagement platforms to enhance team e?ciency and eectiveness.
    • Establish workows, automation, and reporting mechanisms to streamline operations and drive measurable results.
  • Training and Development:
    • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for SDRs, including onboarding, ongoing coaching, and skill development initiatives.
    • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Performance Management:
    • Dene and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure SDR performance, pipeline generation, lead qualication, and conversion rates.
    • Analyze data to drive insights and improvements, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales operations, and product teams to align SDR activities with broader company strategies and initiatives.
    • Foster strong relationships across departments to optimize lead generation eorts and enhance overall sales eectiveness.
  • Innovation and Adaptation:
    • Champion innovative approaches in SDR activities, such as integrating new technologies and rening prospecting strategies based on market trends.
    • Adapt outreach methods and sales tactics to optimize engagement and achieve higher conversion rates.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of progressive experience in SDR roles in Enterprise SaaS (1k+RMR), with a demonstrated program development and team management track record.
    • 2-3 -year experience in consultative/solution selling with 90+ day B2B sales cycle
    • 1-3 years of sales/marketing experience for a technology company (SAAS)
    • Proven success in building and scaling SDR programs, preferably in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
    • Experience in sales to Technology enterprises
  • Skills:
    • Analytic mindset can analyze data and metrics and perform A-B tests to improve the outbound process.
    • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication, both verbally and written
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at building rapport with prospects and internal stakeholders.
    • Strong administrative skills
  • Knowledge:
    • Prociency in CRM software and sales engagement platforms.
    • Deep understanding of outbound sales tactics, lead generation strategies, and pipeline management.
