Job Description
T&M Associates is currently seeking a highly motivated Environmental Engineer for our Environmental team, based our of any of our offices (OH, NJ, IN or PA). This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. This person will lead treatment designs, mechanical piping layouts, pumping and piping calculations, assist project engineers and project managers with multi-disciplinary environmental remediation teams. Projects will include design of groundwater treatment processes and infrastructure, and working with a strong team of civil, environmental, automation, electrical, and structural engineers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead phases of sub-system design for Environmental Remediation projects nationwide
  • Lead planning tasks by performing analyses and calculations, evaluating treatment alternatives, creating figures and tables, and preparing technical reports
  • Lead and support design tasks by planning, performing, and overseeing detailed drawing and technical specification production and performing necessary design calculations and preparation of bid documents
  • Participate in and lead assessment of field data in support of environmental remediation-related evaluations and designs.
  • Provide engineering support during bid-phase, respond to RFIs, provide construction assistance and/or construction oversight
  • Communicate clearly with team members and self-direct workload

Qualifications:

  • B.S in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • 4-10 years environmental engineering experience: familiarity with remediation systems, pumping & well infrastructure
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred, with ability to get PE license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, self-starter, demonstrated organization skills, and willingness to learn
  • Will work with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ArcGIS
  • Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Current 40 HOUR OSHA HAZWOPER certification a plus.
