Our talented staff of more than 450+ professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions.

Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist our M.E.P. team with projects around Ohio & Michigan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform HVAC load analysis and duct design for various building types based on client need.
  • Preparing conceptual design to final construction plans, details and specifications, as well as coordination and communication with the design team.
  • Utilize Sketchup, AutoCAD, & Plant3D modeling softwares to create detailed 3D models, and technical drawings for parts & assemblies.
  • Collaborate design details with other engineering disciplines within MSG and our Trilon Family firms.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience required with but, not limited to;
    • Pumps and piping systems for Lift Stations.
    • Bio-Digester system piping and equipment.
    • Fuel systems (New design and or retrofit of existing systems).
    • Piping systems design and standards.
  • Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Flow Model preferred.
  • Candidates must have proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Must have proficiency in working within a multi-faceted team environment, and in checking various design calculations.
  • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or field related degree is required.
