DevOps Engineer

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines within a Data Lakehouse environment on AWS. This role requires proficiency with AWS services, including AWS Glue, S3, RDS, IAM, EC2, and others, along with strong data engineering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support Data Lakehouse environments on AWS, ensuring smooth deployment of data engineering applications and services.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, automating the provisioning and management of AWS resources.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize and deploy data pipelines using AWS Glue, S3, RDS, and other related services.
Utilize GitHub for version control and manage CI/CD workflows, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of code and infrastructure changes.
Develop and maintain GitHub Actions for automating testing, building, and deploying code, enhancing the overall CI/CD process.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using AWS services and Terraform, ensuring consistent and repeatable environments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD processes to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability of data engineering workflows.
Work closely with data engineers to integrate Oracle GoldenGate and Informatica into data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and transformation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on building CI/CD pipelines in a Data Lakehouse environment.
Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation in AWS environments.
Proficiency with GitHub for version control, including experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
Experience with AWS services including AWS Glue, S3, RDS, IAM, EC2, CloudFormation, and others.
Proven experience in data engineering with a focus on Oracle GoldenGate and Informatica for building and maintaining data pipelines.
Strong scripting and automation skills with tools such as Python, Bash, or similar languages.
