Summary

• Provide overall administration and technical direction to coordinate and maintain all IT requirements and security for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Network, and Systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first, second, and third level support, as appropriate, for main offices and remote locations in both a legacy IT environment and the modern workplace, which consists of office and plant networks, servers, and application environments including Windows Server (all versions), Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Office 365 Platform & Security, Azure AD, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams & Teams Telephony, Intune, Windows Terminal Server, Hyper-V, VMware, anti-malware apps, and MS SQL Server.
• Provide first, second, and third level support, as appropriate, for all workstations, network peripherals, switches, firewalls, printers, scanners, VoIP telephony, com devices, physical cabling, hand scanners, and workstation operating systems (Windows XP to 11 and Linux).
• Work closely with all IT functional areas to implement the operational requirements for new and existing IT systems.
• Liaise with third-party vendors, external contractors, project team members and internal staff to ensure that IT standards are met with hardware/software and policies/procedures.
• Implement, maintain, administer, and provide user support for business line applications including Microsoft s suite of standard applications and M365/O365, along with all hardware and hardware upgrades.
• Proactively manage M365 Network and Systems, based on preventative care including continual improvement of configurations and technologies along with IT policies and procedures.
• Administer, monitor, and maintain optimal performance, connectivity, and operation of servers and switches with respect to all LAN/WAN-related network sites and services.
• Complete network security tasks including backups, anti-virmalware and anti-spam installation/configuration and disaster plans with business continuity planning.
• Maintain an inventory of installed software and hardware, as well as manage licensing, M365, and ITSM tools.
• Create and manage user email accounts and manage access control, based on Company Policies, M365 Security and Conditional Access Policies.
• Plan and implement various hardware and software upgrades including equipment refreshes and applications version upgrades, as well as Windows updates and patches.
• Apply critical thinking to solve complex problems in a 24/7, mission-critical, network environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a System & Network Administrator; working with Windows Server (all versions), Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Office 365 Platform & Security, Azure AD, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams & Teams Telephony, Intune, Windows Terminal Server, Hyper-V, VMware, Anti-malware apps, MS SQL Server, workstations, network peripherals, switches, firewalls, printers, scanners, VoIP telephony, com devices, physical cabling, hand scanners, and workstation operating systems (Windows XP to 11 and Linux).
• Extensive knowledge of the modern workplace, M365, IT operating system and server application platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in coordination with other team members.
• Demonstrated positive customer-orientation in service delivery while thinking logically and acting decisively in critical situations.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to provide after-hours support.
