Could you be a good fit? We are looking for the best, highly skilled Project Manager, Scrum Master to join the team of our exceptional client for a full-time opportunity. This role requires hybrid onsite twice per month.

What will your day look like? As a Project Manager, Scrum Master you will:

  • Demonstrate servant leadership, facilitating scrum process and ceremonies.
  • Acts as a shield from external distractions protecting the team from interference and removing obstacles so that the team can deliver the sprint goal.
  • Promote transparency within the team and across the organization, building trust between the team and stakeholders.
  • Ensure Scrum practices are effectively used and improved within and across teams.
  • Actively coaches and educates on Agile methodologies and practices to build high-performing agile development teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, helping the team regularly inspect, adapt, and enhance their practices.
  • Effectively communicates with all team members, ensuring information is shared clearly, promptly, and unambiguously.
  • Leverage strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills to coach and mentor team members across various roles within a Scrum team.
  • Ensure team actions are aligned with the product team goals/vision.
  • Help to identify trade-offs between short- and long-term benefits to drive shared vision between the team.
  • Foster an open, professional, collaborative team environment facilitating healthy team dynamics.

You will be a good fit as a Project Manager, Scrum Master if you:

  • Bachelor's degree required and Agile Scrum Certification.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience with Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence for work breakdown, tracking, reporting and documentation. White Board products (Miro, Jira).
  • Significant experience acting as a servant leader in a fast-moving banking/ financial industry environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile principles and the flexibility to adapt their experience to new and evolving environments.
  • Knowledgeable about various Agile methodologies and experienced in coaching teams.
  • Experienced with Scrum framework.
  • Experience making teams accountable and motivated to strive for continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership Experienced in assessing how the team is doing and drive necessary actions to improve.
  • Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency and trust across the team.
  • Skilled in building relationships and navigating through organizations.
  • Passion for driving teams towards high performance with a deep pride in quality craftsmanship that delights users.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. A problem solver who succeeds in ambiguous situations and advocates for the best possible solution.
  • Self-aware of cognitive biases and their impact on decision making, focused on the primary aim to build high performing teams, develop team members and outcomes that matter to customers.
  • Assertive, with the confidence to be voice of authority not afraid to do what is best for the team.
