  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Description of Company:

Having over 40 years experience in the Toronto market, this firm specializes in publically conscious projects. Delivering much needed public infrastructure such as schools, long-term care, and affordable housing projects. This firm has a unique construction management delivery service in order to go above and beyond on project delivery.

Why This Role is Open:

This firm is currently seeking a project architect who can assist with the leading, coordinating, and developing of project teams and project delivery through all phases. The ideal candidate will bring strong institutional experience as well as a deep understanding of construction processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist with construction drawings.

  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project teams.

  • Ensure project timelines are met through project lifecycle.

  • Help provide direction and mentorship to junior staff.

  • Help manage and lead Site Plan Approval and Building Permit approvals processes.

Must Haves:

  • 8+ years experience working with OBC.

  • Strong experience managing and leading school or community centre projects.

  • Strong working ability in Revit.

  • Degree or diploma in architecture or related field.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Interests in mentorship and in office presence.

  • Willingness to learn and teach.
