Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst

Summary:

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Analyst with expertise in supporting full system development and data management lifecycles across multiple projects. The Senior Systems Analyst will play a critical role in enhancing business processes through discovery, elicitation, diagramming, documentation, mapping, analysis, and recommending future improvements.

Job Duties:

Core System and Data Analysis Skills:

• Develop a deep understanding of business environments, processes, systems, data flows, and integrations.
• Manage document and requirement traceability, ensuring alignment with business requirements in a SharePoint environment.
• Gather, document, and analyze data schemas and master interface control documents to support data integration needs.
• Lead solution design, configuration requirement gathering, and document solution design. Assist in the development of user and system test scripts.
• Provide subject-matter expertise in data discovery, mapping, GAP analysis, and report creation to improve code and testing efficiency.
• Maintain change control in the document repository, ensuring business changes and dependencies are updated.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and collaborate closely with internal and external teams.
• Manage project risks, defects, and reporting to ensure effective collaboration across teams and vendors.
• Review and enforce privacy and security policies regarding confidential data.

Testing & Quality Assurance Skills:

• Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate accuracy and completeness of User Interfaces (UI), workflows, business logic, validations, ETL, EDI, and reporting processes.
• Track and resolve issues during the system lifecycle with a focus on data quality checks.
• Provide mentorship and subject matter expertise to junior team members.
• Train end-users in core domain system areas.
• Design audit frameworks and leadership dashboards to ensure data integrity.

Required Skills:

• Broad knowledge of business and system analysis, including requirements and design documentation.
• Technical experience with applications, data processes, and technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Oracle, SQL Server, SaaS Cloud).
• Prior experience with Jira, SQL Queries, Rational Quality Manager (RQM), and ADA compliance.
• Familiarity with NIST security standards and handling PII/PHI data.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis and data integration.
• Experience managing or working with 3rd-party vendors.
• Expertise in epics, use cases, stories, features, and testing methodologies.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, MS Project, and other collaboration tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional certification in IIBA, Six Sigma, or TOGAF preferred, or 5+ years of IT application implementation experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Business, System, and Data Analysis or related IT healthcare experience.
• Excellent technical skills, data analysis, and visualization experience.
• Strong written and communication skills with excellent presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
