Job Overview

Augment Jobs is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work with clients to optimize their supply chain processes, enhance efficiency, and drive cost savings. Your expertise in supply chain management and logistics will be essential in helping organizations streamline operations and improve overall performance.

Responsibilities
  • Assess clients’ supply chain operations, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement strategies for optimizing supply chain processes, from procurement to distribution.
  • Analyze supply chain data and metrics to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on inventory management, demand forecasting, and supplier relationship management.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for supply chain operations.
  • Monitor industry trends and market developments to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance client understanding of supply chain concepts and practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Consultant or in a similar role within supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, data analysis tools).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
