Description:

This position is responsible for supporting various aspects of the procure-to-pay cycle as conducted by the Wunderlich-Malec Purchasing staff. A focal point will be managing the flow of invoices that route through the Purchasing team for review (i.e. needing receipt, needing price adjustments, etc.). This focus on invoices will extend to the management of discussions with suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies and payment status requests. The Purchasing Assistant will also concentrate on maintaining data integrity within the business systems of the company. Work direction will come via the Purchasing ticketing system and via feedback from the rest of the Purchasing staff. Determining manufacturer/OEM on recently created PO’s, for database tracking Spreadsheet analysis of OEM data for use by the team Quoting activities- obtaining quotes from suppliers New supplier set-up activities- communicating with them back and forth Freight bill analysis for proper costing- this will include this on a daily basis Input of pricing data into our ERP system

Associates Degree with 2 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management with an internship 2+ years' experience processing PO's 2+ years communicating with suppliers 2+ years working within a manufacturing setting using an ERP
