Our client isseeking a highly qualified and experienced Governess to provide educational support and supervision for four children between the ages ofsix months and eight years old. The ideal candidate will oversee the academic development, social skills, and personal growth of the children in accordance with the family’s values and goals. The Governess will create and implement individualized lesson plans, assist with homework, and ensure the children's learning environment is structured and nurturing. The governess will work alongside a team of nannies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the child’s academic level and learning style
  • Assist with schoolwork, projects, and test preparation, ensuring academic progress
  • Monitor and support emotional, physical, and social development
  • Foster good manners, social etiquette, and communication skills in various settings
  • Organize extracurricular activities
  • Coordinate with parents, tutors, and teachers to align educational goals and expectations
  • Assist in maintaining a structured daily routine, ensuring a balance between study, play, and rest
  • Supervise and support children during outings, events, and travel as needed
  • Uphold and enforce household rules and routines
  • Encourage independent thinking, creativity, and curiosity in the children
  • Manage the children's schedules and coordinate appointments as needed

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working as a governess, tutor, or teacher with a focus on child development
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
  • Discretion, professionalism, and ability to respect the privacy of the family
  • Flexibility for overnight case as need
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Excellent, verifiable references
