What We Are Looking For

DanceOne is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to play a critical role in the financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will manage the financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and help streamline accounting processes to support the growth of the company.

Financial Reporting

In This Role, You Will:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.

General Ledger Management

  • Oversee the general ledger accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all journal entries.
  • Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting.

Month-End And Year-End Close

  • Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for financial close.

Fixed Assets And Depreciation

  • Manage fixed assets accounting, including the recording of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Perform regular reviews of fixed asset registers and reconcile to the general ledger.

Financial Analysis And Budgeting

  • Provide financial analysis to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives.

Audit And Compliance

  • Support external audit processes, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and implement them as necessary.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
  • Streamline accounting processes and systems for increased efficiency.
  • Work closely with IT teams to optimize financial systems.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting, analysis, and general ledger management, or a minimum of 2 years in public accounting.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant in a large corporation or multinational environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, QuickBooks) and expense reimbursement platforms (such as Concur or Ramp) is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that directly impact the financial health of the company. Typical Work Schedule And Travel

  • This position is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office twice a week.
  • Typical business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Some weekend and evening work may be required during peak financial periods.

  • Physical requirements include computer screen time, sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs. unassisted.
