General Description

The recruiter is responsible for meeting staffing objectives for contract compliance. The recruiter is responsible for building relationships within the aviation industry and locating qualified candidates to fill open aviation billets. This position will focus on Aircraft Mechanic positions (all disciplines) to perform work at Robins Airforce Base in Warner Robins, GA.

Duties

  • Source and attract candidates by using a variety of mechanisms (e.g., internet job postings, social media, resume searchers, referrals, etc.)
  • Evaluate candidates resumes and job qualifications
  • Phone screen applicants
  • Coordinate job fairs for areas of interest
  • Work with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and coordinate interviews
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Provide weekly analytical and well documented reports to the rest of the team
  • Ensure hard to fill positions are filled in a timely manner by developing creative recruitment strategies
  • Travel may be required
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of aviation recruiting experience in an SCA environment is required
  • Solid background and understanding of military aviation are required
  • Must understand government contracting and SCA requirements
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with a variety of HR databases, applicant tracking systems etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance.
