Salary Range: $87,500 to $91,000

We are looking for Engineering graduates with 0-1 years of experience to join our Structures team in our Pleasanton office in 2024!

Responsibilities

Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for structural projects focusing on new buildings, rehabilitation and repair of existing buildings, PV systems, and site structures.
Assist with preparation of detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software and tools
Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients visions for the future built environment.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop effective structural solutions that meet project requirements.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for modifications, repairs, and retrofits.
Perform structural analysis and modeling using advanced software tools to evaluate the behavior and performance of structures under various load conditions.
Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
Analysts will learn the latest industry trends, codes, and standards related to vertical structures, and incorporate them into project designs
Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn s and our client s practices, procedures, and standards.
Analysts will learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS.

Qualifications
  • An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2024 in one of the following majors:
    • Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
    • Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering
    • Engineering Technology
      • #ZR
