Become a member of our successful Merchandising team based in Somerville, MA, USA. We are currently looking for a Junior Merchandiser DTC Apparel.

HOW TO CHANGE THE GAME [Tasks and Responsibilities]

  • Assist in the development and execution of apparel merchandising strategies for outlet stores.
  • Support the Senior Merchandiser in product selection and assortment planning.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels across all outlets.
  • Manage product data entry and maintain accurate merchandising records
  • Conduct regular market and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Prepare and interpret sales data to provide and execute against resultant recommendations and actionable strategies.
  • Collaboration with Retail Planning, Ecommerce, and Operations team members to execute seasonal plans and store experience.
  • Partner with Retail Marketing and Visual Teams to ensure assortment is supported as planned.
  • Support retail merchandising team in all responsibilities including but not limited to visual line plans, forecasting, entering orders, setting up product, tracking deliveries, creating presentations, and preparing for meetings.
  • Partner closely with outside vendors to ensure process and product delivery is timely and up to PUMA quality standards
  • Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes and practices.

YOUR TALENT:

WHAT MAKES YOU A GAMECHANGER [Qualifications]

  • 0-2 years of experience in Merchandising or Buying in either a Wholesale or Retail organization or equivalent
  • Team player with the ability to work cross functional with a diverse set of individuals
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written skills
  • Detail oriented with analytical strengths
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to deadline management
  • Demonstrates ability to establish an independent view and contribute to decision-making forums
  • Knowledge of retail math and key performance indicators including sell thru, mark up, gross margin, discounting, and open to buy
  • Ability to conceive and create new thoughts and ideas pertaining to the presentation of products
  • Passion for sports industry
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point; highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Merchandising or a related field
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time (International & Domestic)
