BDM - High profile secured facilities - Western US

The BDM is a specialist sales role responsible for hunting new sales opportunities to drive the profitable growth of Government, Defense, Intelligence, Critical National Infrastructure, and other high-security or complex vertical markets in North America.

The BDM will help develop and execute agreed business development and growth strategies and plans that reinforce, support, and drive profitable growth of the sales region.

This position has responsibility for building market position by targeting, hunting, qualifying, developing, defining, negotiating, closing, and nurturing profitable and enduring business relationships with colleagues, channel partners, end users, technology partners, architects, engineers, consultants, and influencers.

Strategic Growth

  • Drive new business ventures across region and expand existing relationships with key Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and Critical Infrastructure markets.
  • Customer Relationship management. Trusted advisor and lead end-user and channel partner development.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform growth strategies that balance delivering on short-term goals, while creating sustainable long-term unique business value for customers.
  • Expand geographic and vertical reach through expansive channel acquisition, securing both Prime and Government integration solution partnerships.
    • Prospecting and lead management
    • Provide product presentations to potential customers, end-users, and security consultants.
    • Tender timely response to RFI’s, RFQ’s, and customer requests.
    • System designs and integrated solutions.
Skills / Competencies

  • Communicate effectively and take lead on complex projects through completion.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ambitious, and results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
